Happy New Eyes!

I got Lasik this week and I'm so freaking excited. I went to Cullom Eye and Laser Center in Williamsburg, and can already say it was SO worth it!

Goodbye glasses. Here are the things I will not miss about you:
  • The way you fog up when I walk inside after being outside in the winter air
  • The way your lenses would inevitably get scratches
  • The way you would get crooked during volleyball and then my vision would be all jacked up
  • Having to find creative places to put you while staying overnight anywhere (tents, cabins, foreign countries, etc) just so that I could find you should chaos arise in the night.
  • The way you sneak your glare into photo's
  • The choices you forced me to make. "Keep my head above water and be able to see...or swim blind?".

Hello new eyes. Here are the things we can do together now:
  • See the shampoo bottle
  • Fall asleep while watching T.V.
  • We can now enjoy a little thing known as "peripheral vision"
  • Stare intently at people (you know, in case the need arises)
  • And many, many other joyous things, I'm sure
So, as Jess says..."Happy New Eyes!"
